Gryff’s Mind Space was created to reach those who too often fall through the net. Born from loss, built with intention, and unapologetically different, we exist to challenge the idea that healing has to look one particular way.
Life can be tough. Many people don’t feel like they belong within traditional support systems — and we get that. At Gryff’s Mind Space, we believe that healing happens best when people feel seen, accepted, and supported by the right tribe. With the right environment around you, it is possible to find steadier ground and navigate this confusing world together.
We are not a conventional mental health service.
We are here for those who are open to new ideas, new experiences, and different ways of caring for themselves — a mental health organisation with a difference.
Yes, we offer 1-to-1 talking therapies. But research consistently shows that talking therapies can be even more effective when they’re supported by meaningful self-care activities. That’s why we take a more holistic approach to healing.
Alongside counselling, we provide 1-to-1 holistic therapies including nutrition support, reiki, kinesiology, hypnotherapy, life coaching, and self-care treatments such as reflexology and massage. These are complemented by affordable community events that focus on slowing down, reconnecting with yourself, building psychological understanding, and — sometimes — simply getting blissed out without guilt.
We also deliver suicide prevention training, ranging from our two-hour Riding the Storm Together workshop — which explores the foundations of suicide prevention and challenges conventional approaches — through to the two-day Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). ASIST is recognised internationally as the gold standard in suicide prevention and equips participants with the skills and confidence to respond to suicidal situations safely and sensitively.
Gryff’s Mind Space exists to raise awareness of the importance of self-care – and its role in coping with this challenging world.
