About Us

Gryff’s Mind-Space is a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and compassionate spaces for young people facing mental health challenges. Our mission is to make counselling and therapeutic support more accessible to those who need it most — particularly young adults at risk of suicide and those struggling to find their place in a complex world.

We believe in the power of community and collaboration. That’s why we actively work alongside local services, organisations, and individuals who share our commitment to supporting vulnerable young people. Whether it’s through joint initiatives, signposting, or shared events, we aim to build a strong network of support across our community.

While we have a special interest in supporting individuals who may think or experience the world differently, our focus is on providing practical, person-centred help to anyone in need — without barriers, stigma, or judgement.

Though still growing, Gryff’s Mind-Space is rooted in the strength of a passionate and caring community. From community fundraisers to awareness events in honour of Gryff’s legacy, everything we do is driven by a desire to connect, uplift, and provide real-world support.

Together, we’re working towards a future where no young person feels alone or unheard. We hope you’ll join us on this journey.

INCLUSIVE

• We are an inclusive organisation and will not turn people away. One of our main priorities is to bring more awareness of teenagers who are silently struggling and those at risk of suicide.

INFORMATIVE

• Make information available and accessible about neurodivergence and start a conversation that is incorporated into everyday dialogue.

UNDERSTANDING

• Workshops, talks, and courses given by professionals, who will dispel myths, share up to date facts and studies that will reinforce the need for greater understanding.

AWARENESS

• Bring awareness to outdated systems and work with families to circumnavigate any recognised barriers, utilising charity and third sector agencies.

FRIENDSHIP

• Our mission is to be available for those who would benefit from support within the following areas: advice, sign posting, friendship in a safe space.
