I feel privileged to counsel and support children, young people and adults. I’m Adlerian trained and also have an advanced qualification in counselling children and young people. The Adlerian approach is one of encouragement, equality, collaboration – working with a person, looking at issues together in a caring, non-judgemental way. I enjoy working creatively and offer a confidential, safe space for clients to explore their feelings and gain insights to enable them to make the positive changes they want in their lives.
I have worked with children for many years including being bilingual Secondary and Primary School Counsellor. I specialise in Bereavement counselling and work part-time within the NHS as a Bereavement Counsellor working with children, young people and adults. Within my private practice I offer a mixed model of counselling, face-to-face from my base at Crymych together with e-counselling via Zoom and telephone.
I work with a wide range of issues including loss, divorce, self-harm, suicidal ideation, family dynamics, friendship groups issues, supporting difference and pet loss.
Being a Reiki Master Practitioner, I aim to bring calm and care into my practice.
